Train Collectors Association

Central Texas Chapter

About Us

The Central Texas Chapter (CTC) is part of the statewide and national Train Collector’s Organization (TCA) to promote fellowship and knowledge within the hobby of model trains.

We are a group that enjoys operating and collecting toy trains of all makes, gauges and manufacturers.

We meet monthly at various members' homes and see their layout or other public locations in different parts of the city. Sometimes there are train related field trips.

We host an annual local train show and keep you informed of other related groups' activities. In addition to our annual May show, in the past we have hosted the national Train Collectors Association convention, helped the Boy Scouts with their Railroading Badge, visited children's hospitals, displayed a small toy train layout in public, and taken a few fun train related field trips.

Our membership is open to anyone who is a current member of the Train Collector Association and Lone Star Division.

There are links and applications for membership on other tabs and pages.

If you enjoy owning and operating model and electric trains, we encourage you to attend some of our meetings at no obligation to see what we are all about.

Train Collectors Association Mission Statement:
